About the event
This course is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Local Authority Approved and meets the needs of Ofsted. It is suitable for Childminders, Nursery and School Staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in-depth course. This 12 hour course is delivered by a paediatric specialist and includes both theory and practical sessions. This qualification is split into 2 Units, Unit 1 Emergency Paediatric First Aid & Unit 2 Managing paediatric illness, injuries and emergencies.
Aim of course: On successful completion of the course and examination the candidate will be able to: - • Understand the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess an emergency situation safely.
Pre-course preparation & Prior Course Knowledge
